A poorly maintained Moroccan port with a strong smell of rotting fish, caused by the decaying remains around the fish market and the nearby fish processing plants. An unpleasant place.
The harbor is no longer open to tourists. At the entrance, you are very politely turned away by the police and harbor staff. The staff at Atlantic Camping had already pointed this out to us. We walked the almost 3 kilometers there and then returned along the wild Atlantic. Recommended, even if the shore is partially littered.
Very courteous and friendly port entrance control. Clean port. Fish sales to individuals could be improved.
