We had a stunning experience with this camp. Booking was smooth and Youssef was responsive and patient with the questions and changes we had to make. He responded quickly and respectfully. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver/guide than Mohamed. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He went out of his way to give us personalized experiences not included in the original itinerary, even linking us up with his friend’s band for a private performance / meet and greet in their studio. We formed a great friendship with Mohamed and and getting to know him and the rest of the camp family gave us an even greater insight and appreciation into Moroccan culture than any of the sightseeing could have done. The camp itself is beautiful - handsomely decorated and appointed. The home-cooked authentic meals were absolutely delicious - I might even go so far as to say that the beef oxtail tagine that we had on our last night is the best dish I’ve ever had! The camel ride out to the camp was stunning, the visit to the Berber nomad village was captivating, and the nightly dancing around the fire to the locals drumming was unforgettable. All in all, Youssef, Mohamed, Rashid, and the rest of the camp staff gave us a once-in-lifetime experience that went far beyond our expectations and that I will cherish forever. Shokran!
