We went to buy tiles and the salesman gave us an offer that we agreed on. When at the cashier, the bill had a different price and l refused to pay. He said the manager didn't approve the discount he gave us, so at least inform us, apologise, do something about it or at least try to. This is not a matter of money but a matter of professionalism and business ethics. Not recommanding.
