Medina Tanger

Being out and about early in Tangier, the northern Moroccan city, walking directly from the port to the Medina old town with its narrow, winding alleys and picturesque squares, was a fantastic experience. There were hardly any people around so early; only at the end of the walk did we visit a market that was still being set up. We also enjoyed views of the sea. A truly worthwhile stay in Tangier.
