I was utterly surprised to discover that the clementines I bought came from Morocco. It took a little detective work, but it appears the grower is identified as 5253/R. I have no idea exactly where that is, though it seems to be somewhere around Taroudant, as it is linked to Station Faraj. I was delighted to see that the fruit supplies Marks & Spencer (M&S, Field to Fork). I love the fact that there is at least some level of traceability, though it’s a pity you can’t locate the exact field, as you can with CENTO’s Find My Field. They are truly beautiful clementines, and probably the best I’ve tasted in many years.
