We arrived in the dark at a closed gate. Fortunately, it wasn’t locked, and we drove up to the house, where we were warmly welcomed. It was no problem for us to stay the night. The next morning, we finally saw what a beautiful place it is! Hamid kindly drove us to Fez and gave us a tour of the medina. In the evening, we enjoyed a lovely dinner together with Hamid and Sophie.

We plan to stop and see what happens. What an adventure, we travel as a family with 3 boys (7,11,13) and they love it, they play with the kids from the neighbor, they help Benjamin and the other people who stay there. All day they come back, happy and dirty ;) I just help to build a solar hot water system and give a hand to the other guys, had nice chats with other campers and of course with Benjamin. He is very friendly, give a lot of hospitality. He just explain me a lot of Marocco, the insides and of course Basics, explain me about farming, help us to get Internet, get a accommodation, give me a lift to the town. You can help, but its not a must. Recommended

Calm, beautiful, and between the Olive Grove camp. Lovely Sophie and Hamid were very hospitable and warm. Highly recommended before getting to Fez.

Me and my girlfriend had a great time helping out the farm! Ben is a really funny and ambitious guy and is also very generous. You can use anything on the farm in exchange for a bit of help on the projects! We helped building a reservoir to water the garden, building a bug mosque, take care of the animals and doing some general maintenance and we learned a lot about construction and permaculture! With our Volkswagen camper we could pick a spot in the meadow with a nice view overlooking the whole region with the mountains visible in the background. The evenings were really nice and we cooked together, played some chess with other volunteers and had nice conversations. There is also a music room where we had nice jam sessions on piano, guitar and drums. Very nice experience and amazing people. We would definitely love to come back soon!
