There’s no self check in, and they’re understaffed. I wish there was more security available, and staff to ask questions to + more payment methods for the cafes. The staff of the airport themselves can be kind, but some are rude and disrespectful. It depends from person to person. The chicken sandwich I bought there for 50 dh tasted dry and not fresh. The bathrooms need a serious renovation. One of the soap dispensers dropped to the floor when someone tried to use it. There was plenty of space to charge phones which was very useful. The only people and service I could really complain about was Airarabia.
20.05.2025 First time for me to be in Nador Very small airport Plane sizes are usually small so there is no nozzle to get you from plane to airport nor a bus. For a small airport, it is very fast to finish your papers. It is the first airport in Morocco that i have not been asked to give money to Guards, very impressive as all other airports in Morocco did ask as well in the train station Its car park is segregated into 2 sides and one for paid car another for rental parking lot next to the airport. Limited restaurant located at the airport Toilets are in bad condition most if they dont work and there are no toilet papers
A few months ago ,I wrote a very short review about this airport and I gave it 3 stars ,now I m editing it because I wanted to share a personal experience and also speak for some of my acquaintances who went through the exact same situation in this airport! It seems that some of the staff are corrupt and they are trying to scam people to get more pocket money or maybe get a promotion or a raise ! The situation is that on the 27 th of July ,I was accused of violating the airplane luggage code ! The woman responsible for the checking claimed that my hand luggage is bigger than what it should be ! I knew that it wasn't true because it was three centimetres smaller than the norms and I have used the exact same luggage set since 2017 and I do 6 to 8 flights per year ! However ,the staff had the nerve to lie into my face so I paid a fine ! However , when I got into the plane , I asked two flight attendants to check if my hand luggage fits the norms or not and they both said it does ! Anyways, I regret not trusting 9 of my acquaintances who didn't recommend aroui airport to me because they told me that the workers there are scammers ! I will never set foot in that airport again ! ( P.s :1 star is just too much for this airport! Too bad I can't give no star at all )
This airport isn’t bad especially considering that it doesn’t have many flights in and out of it. The current airport is new and has a modern design. There are just 2 shops before security and a few after security. You can get water or snacks at a small store and 2 places serve coffee and some food. There is no WiFi unfortunately and the bathrooms are small but all in all the airport is fine but do be aware it’s far from Nador town about 30 minutes drive.
1 border patrol officer for a whole airport. At 11:25 am there was still 1 policeman. Only after complaints by passengers came 3-4. And the complaint was not welcomed. This is not acceptable. A written complaint will follow in the next few days.
With today’s experience at this airport, I have to say I am beyond disappointed and furious. The workers at the police check were not professional in the slightest—not even 2%. On the contrary, their behavior was blatantly racist, to a degree I could never have imagined. They wasted more than 40 minutes of my time without a single word of apology. This was my very first experience here, and unfortunately, it has turned into one of the worst.
