This is a place to which we usually go when we travel to the desert. It is right in front of a well known garage to repair cars. I have never had any problem to eat safely according to my special dietary needs (gluten-free and other food allergies). After showing the translation card (Celiac travel card) they confirmed the dishes I wanted to order were safe. I put special emphasis on the cross-contamination and they could manage everything well. For us, it has always been easy to park in front, but sometimes it can be very busy.
This restaurant has beautiful decor and furnishings ala Moroccan style. The metal chairs are heavy with thick table coverings. Service is glum faced, except for one of the waitresses who could speak some limited English. The Berber pizza is filled with meat, eggs and some chopped vegetables. The crust is somewhat similar like the bread crust. Fairly dry and rather blades in taste. You can add olive oil, salt and pepper to give more flavour.
The atmosphere was good and we felt like we are in a clean restaurant... The food was good, not really the pizza but the tagine the best I taste in Morocco... It was a quite expensive restaurant but I recommend this place if we compare from the others..
Located in Erfoud, this place offers various dishes. It has inside and outside places to eat. The meniu list is quite rich , soup, pizzas in marocain style, vegetables salads, desert and of course tagine, which is a famous dish in Morocco and very tasty. I choose to eat in the outside beautiful museum garden, decorated with antique on the walls and many interesting things. It takes a bit until the dishes are ready because they are cooked fresh, but you can admire the garden and enjoy a coffee or fresh squeezed juice. The coffee is good 👍, expresso or other various ways as well. The price for a complete menu with soup ,tagine, and a fruit was 120 dirham < 12 euro>. In the stop in Erfoud, this is a very good place 👌 to have lunch. They wi-fi is free . Just ask for the password.
I came because of the rave reviews of the pizza. I have been in Morocco for many years and this pizza was one of the worst I have had. It was very much undercooked, the thin crust was meant to have crunch not be totally limp. The pizza margarita only had cheese and 3 olives, pizza margarita has basil and red sauce, there was no sauce, no basil, only cheese. There were several wait staff and I was alone in the dining room but had to find them for service and then for payment. The French fries were hot but tasteless.
