Bouznika Beach – Clean, Calm, and Perfect for a Getaway Bouznika Beach is one of the best along Morocco’s Atlantic coast — clean, family-friendly, and great for swimming. The water is clear, the sand soft, and the atmosphere much quieter than Casablanca or Rabat’s city beaches. It’s ideal for a relaxing day trip or a weekend escape, with plenty of cafés and resorts nearby.
Bouznika beach 🏖️ is a well seeked beach due to its clean sand, lot of houses on the sand, safety, proximity to greenery and distance from the main road 🛣️. Now is the horses season in Bouznika. The wild horses escape the mosquitoes and flies of the marsh by spending time on the beach. Horses are seen as transport, because people relied on them to make long distance travelling. This was, way before the invention of trains and cars. Then we have mythology that have sea faring horses. Poseidon, the god of the sea in Greek mythology, owned a chariot which was pulled by Hippocampi, a creature that was a horse with a fish tail. Horses might’ve helped people ride across shallow lakes, rivers and flooded places. The ancient Norse used to call their ships “horses” as they were seen as wooden horses carrying people over water.
