We booked an apartment through Booking.com. Upon arrival, the manager (only reachable by phone) asked us to cancel our reservation, claiming he had a better apartment to offer. Unfortunately, the new apartment was very disappointing: unpleasant smell, outdated condition, and nothing like the photos shown on Booking. The experience did not meet our expectations. We recommend checking reviews on Google beforehand, as it seems several other travelers have faced similar issues.

Basic accom with 2 beds, bath and kitchen with gas stove and cooking equipment and cutlery but could have been cleaner. Same applies for the bathroom. However, the living dining area is spacious, looked like resfreshed paint on the walls and new cushions/covers on a large seating area and also had a gas heater thankfully as it was very cold and wet when we were in town. Owner is very responsive.

Very lousy treatment. Although had reserved and received confirmation, on arrival with family I was told the room not available. I was asked to cancel the reservation and an alternative appartment was offered. The said alternative was one bedroom instead of two not clean for the same price. This whole game was good to avoid paying to bookings. Left the hotel
