These reviews are harsh. The tour is misrepresenting how the oil in the shop is produced: it is likely produced in bulk elsewhere by mechanised means and not by a collection of some sweet old ladies singing while grinding seeds. I paid 100 MAD for 100g of ras el hanout and 200 MAD for about 60 ml of the herbal argan oil. Yes this is quite expensive but the money goes towards the tour guides commission and the wages of the ladies hired to demonstrate the traditional process, which was interesting to watch. The breakfast was good and simple, bread pieces with three dips, peanut butter, honey and olive oil. I believe the argan oil is as genuine as you'll find from a souk. Yes there's no traceability or ingredients list but it's hardly England. There are tests you can perform to verify how genuine the product is. Unlike what other reviews say we weren't pressured to buy anything and the lady made a good sales pitch, giving us samples of many different products and explaining what they're good for.

Did not like the vibe of the place, feels like a tourist trap and a money machine. There are some berber women inside a mud house demonstrating how to crush the argan seeds but it doesn’t feel authentic, it seems just an act for tourists. There is no lab there so you don’t know where they make the product. Then be prepared for some very sales focused women trying to make you buy as much as they can get from you. On the positive side, the bread and dips offered on arrival are tasty and the building is interesting. Probably some people will like this but not my thing

Stopped over this place while going for a day trip. The good: They served us tea and bread, with honey, home made peanut butter and argan oil. The we sat on the roof top which was airy and had a good view of the surrounding mountains and hills. The lady made a very solid sales pitch, explained the benefits of Argon oil, how it’s made and the place being a zero-waste institute. She kept calling the place a ‘women cooperative’, which I interpreted as it being solely run by women. The bad: the products were mainly based on ‘Argon oil’ but had additives such as other essential oils. She sold sprays, oils and creams, lipsticks and serums. Made me think, what post processing does this go through? Any other ingredients/stabilisers? There was nothing mentioned on the packaging and the women didn’t give much information either. She gave us different things to try, and my wife got a rash on the back of her hand. Because we did not know what was included in each, we weren’t able to know exactly what product had caused a reaction. Also, there were no prices mentioned on the products. Conclusion: Avoid if possible!

These place is scam !!Avoid!! Got this little bottle of argan oil for growing hair first of use and all seeds are stuck in pipe lol amd its not working anymore ,theres even no label🙄 Bought shampoo as well but the bottle is so small that it wont be even enough for 1month paid together £30 what is ridiculouse plus they are putting products in your basket that you dont need !! Theres no machinery for making these products seems just two ladies who are making argan oil sitting there for tourists and thats it !!

Good pit stop had some lovely bread with honey, olive oil and peanut butter! Enjoyed some tea and relaxed! Great atmosphere and good products. Reasonably priced.

Pure scam. Lipstick comes empty. Instagram page is some random day trader. They put all your stuff in a basket before you can look at it further and push you to buy things before you’ve had a chance to think. Lots of tours take you here - do not buy anything.
