I’ve been a loyal customer of Bright for years, but the past week has completely changed my opinion of this restaurant. The quality and service have gone downhill to a shocking level. A few days ago, I ordered a steak with mashed potatoes. Instead of what I paid for, I was served a bowl of what looked like beef stew, topped with raw mushrooms as “garnish,” along with vegetables that were so salty they were barely edible. When I politely told the waiter that the dish wasn’t what I ordered and that I didn’t like it, he didn’t apologise, didn’t offer a solution—he just walked away. No replacement, no explanation, nothing. Then yesterday, we ordered again from the same restaurant: a pasta dish and a fruit salad. Both arrived in tiny boxes, with half the usual portion, yet somehow the price was even higher. It felt like the restaurant was cutting corners everywhere—on food, on presentation, on service, and on customer respect. I used to come here with my family and genuinely enjoyed the place, but the recent experiences have completely ruined the trust and standards I once had for Bright. Unless something drastically changes, I won’t be returning, and I genuinely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone right now.

My family and I had 4 breakfasts this morning, we found some tables reserved fir families, the food was good, the coffee was hot and tasty , the Moroccan tea was cooked on stove not with steamer, our server was professional, and very pleasant, plenty of parking, I recommend this cafe.

Just came in and ordered pasta and a burger We had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to even give a menu to us and once it was given we waited another 15 minutes for the waiter to take out order The wait time for the food was around 25 minutes Once the food came and we tasted the food it was average it could have been better but it was reasonable once the food was finished I waited for the waiter to come to give us the bill but I had to get up to get the waiters attention Overall the food was reasonable But the service should have been better if I was paying the amount I paid My review is of my own accord and it’s only my experience I speak for myself not anyone else

Unhygienic experience, worms in the cheesecake I had a disturbing experience at Bright in Martil. I ordered a cheesecake and discovered live worms crawling inside it. It was shocking and completely unacceptable. What made it even worse was how the staff handled the situation. Instead of apologizing or addressing the issue properly, they reacted unprofessionally and kept asking me to stay quiet, as if hiding the problem was more important than fixing it. This isn’t just disappointing, it’s a serious health risk. Basic hygiene and honest customer service should be non-negotiable in any food establishment. I strongly urge the management to take this seriously and make immediate changes to ensure no other customer is treated this way or put at risk.

Amazing food, service, the server was so playfully with my brother. Supper nice, great coffee, breakfast all and all amazing time i came 2 days in a row good place for breakfast

Unprofessional staff, zero customer service. Nice decor, but that’s about it. 0 quality After waiting 45 minutes with the staff laughing and ignoring us, we got the wrong order and there was a long hair inside the food. I called to speak with the manager and asked for a refund, His response was arrogant and dismissive, offering no apology and saying, “What do you want me to do now?” Not recommend
