0 أداب... Zero manners... We were at Agadir airport, looking for a souvenir and enjoying the Moroccan cultural items in one of the boutiques. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. One of the staff members kept following us around the store without saying a word, which made us feel uncomfortable. Then we heard her say (in Darija) “Where are they? Ah, they’re at the glaces spot,” in a very rude tone. It felt very disrespectful. It’s sad to say, but if you're not Moroccan, you’ll probably be treated better — they seem much nicer to tourists.
The two ladies working here are amazing and very friendly. Made my 3 HR wait for my flight much more pleasant.
The sales assistants were unbearable. You couldn't take a step without being harassed. Once you get to the checkout, it doesn't stop; they try to sell you even more items when you're about to pay. I almost gave up and left. You need to change your sales tactics. We're perfectly capable of buying things if we want to. Luckily, the rest of our trip wasn't like that.
AVOID THIS SHOP!!! Card payments are only accepted for purchases over €30, and this isn't mentioned anywhere. Payments are only accepted in euros, even if you want to be charged in dirhams! Unbelievable! They left the prices on all the gifts they wrapped… luckily I saw them before giving them as gifts! Run, run…
Prices would be okay in MAD, but when paying, it becomes clear that they mean euros. Argan oil and Amlou together are supposed to cost €60. Far too many staff.
