Stay away from this rental company. I booked a car for 3 days during 1st - 3rd of Jan. The full insurance coverage cost MAD 180 per day and was purchased at the counter. I was told I would only be charged MAD 500 to process the insurance claim, okay fine I understood and accepted. However, the next day, they deducted my full MAD 2,600 deposit. I was informed that the deposit was just “temporarily debited,” yet I have still not received any refund, explanation, or timeline. The stated processing time was 30 days - it has now been 45 days. There is no proper customer service and no clear communication. Customers are simply passed around without any real resolution. I have been trying to get updates on my deposit status and timeline for the past two weeks, and nothing has been resolved. Terrible and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this rental company to anyone.

Hertz Morocco is a company without any integrity, bordering on thiefs. They made a mistake on the paperwork for my rental (they wrote my name wrong. For some reason, my name showed up in their system as "casa home". That is not even a name...). They then charged me 350dhs to make the change. They said their system is hard coded to charge 350dhs for every change, there was no way to waive the fee. So then I requested a refund, and they said that because I pre-paid with card, there was no way to refund or cancel. So my only options were to pay an extra 350dhs or cancel the rental, but no refund would be given. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. HOW CAN THAT BE LEGAL? I tried so hard to find a solution, but they refused to help While Hertz Morocco is terrible and lack any professional courtesy, the people who work at Hertz Casa City were very kind. Amal and Rashid tried to help me, but they could also not do anything to help. Amal and Rachid were very kind to myself and my baby. Because I was forced to pay the 350dhs fee, they upgraded me to a nice car.

Although at first I was hesitant based upon the reviews, my experience with Hertz was exceptional. At this downtown Casablanca office they are professional and helpful. I was a walk in customer and they quickly rented me a nice car that was clean with a full tank of gas at a good price. Since I live in Casablanca, I will rent from them again. It was just like renting a car in the USA. Very good customer service with English spoken if you need it. Thank you Abdelallah and Rachid. Bravo!

I recently rented a Honda Civic Hybrid. I managed to scrape its side skirt in the car park at 2 km/h. The front of the side skirt was already damaged slightly when I received the car. I have attached the photos as well. This is not the main body panel, It is a cosmetic reinforced plastic piece. My initial deposit of 6000 MAD was returned with a 500 MAD deduction to process my insurance claim. Please note I opted for the comfort full collision waiver insurance their highest insurance coverage. Since I am the one who caused the damage to the car I think it's reasonable that I pay a nominal fee for it. The customer service handled my case professionally and resolved all outstanding issues with patience and understanding.
