Moulay Yacoub, just outside Fez, is a great spot to relax in natural sulfur hot springs. The water is warm and said to help with skin and joint issues, though the sulfur smell is strong but normal. Facilities include both public pools and private cabins, plus simple spa treatments. It’s not a luxury resort, but it’s an authentic, soothing experience – best enjoyed early in the day to avoid crowds.
This place is NOT OPEN. Do not go here if you are expecting a private hot spring experience. The entire complex of the private hot springs, where we thought men and women could experience the baths together instead of separate, are actually under construction. From what little French I know, the place will not be ready for reopening until sometime in 2018.
The experience is good but before this place they are parking charge you 20 dirham per hour so make sure not to park there if you stay longer
This is where I spent best time in Morocco. By far better than any architectural site or any meal. This is what we will remember from our trip the most. This is why I will be back to Morocco. There are two different places, one of the is very affordable (25 DH a person) and one goes more than 15 times that for the same service (which is also a good price for the service offered). For the local one, you have to bring your own towel, shampoo and bucket. Or you can buy the towel for 70-80 DH and a shampoo for 10, rent a bucket for 25.
