Looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful for our overnight stay. The reviews were poor but my instinct is to try it for myself and to be fair it was a decent experience. The guys were friendly enough, the football was on, the spag Bol was hot and plenty of it. The coffee was good and with a bottle of water and a coke it all came to 105. I gave them a small tip and this review

I went to Cristal Palace with high expectations. At first glance, the dishes were beautifully presented, everything looked tempting… but from the very first bite, the magic was gone. The taste didn't live up to it at all: bland, soulless dishes, lacking that certain something that makes a meal truly enjoyable. I felt like I was eating something beautiful, but empty. And the restrooms… honestly, I'd rather not even mention them. The hygiene was clearly lacking, and it completely ruined the experience. It's a shame, because the place has potential. But it's not enough for it to be pretty; it also has to be delicious and enjoyable from start to finish.
