It's rare to find such a beautiful place that has been unspoiled by the ravages of mass tourism and this very tastefully decorated villa, which combines the local vernacular with some unobtrusively modern conveniences, offers an environment that is truly restorative. I can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed and contented. With gorgeous food cooked by local people, plus the option of having a relaxing massage in the villa, this is no ordinary holiday let. Happiness is an elusive thing, but as you lounge by the infinity pool, watching the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean, you may feel that you've found it in Oualidia.

My wife and I came here looking for complete relaxation after a couple of days of bustling Marrakesh and that’s precisely what we found. The villa and its outlook are fabulous; the warmth of welcome and care shown by guardian Abdillah supported by Fatima and Hanane were similarly first-class. Oualidiah is a small, relaxed town and typically friendly. We particularly enjoyed the lagoon with its rich birdlife, boat trips, walks and beaches, not forgetting Fatima’s excellent cuisine. We’ll be back.
