Hamza was an incredible guide for our trip from Marrakech to the Sahara. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and truly enjoying every moment. From thoughtful stops along the way to sharing the history and culture of Morocco, he made the journey unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for better service — highly recommend Hamza to anyone visiting Morocco!

We are a middle aged couple travelling with our elderly parents , and have multiple particular needs. HAMZA our driver especially and Morocco Desert tours for the past 14 days has literally made every possible effort to make our elderly parents comfortable as possible , such as booking ground floor or first floor rooms so that our elderly parents do not have to climb stairs. We also had so much fun, many beautiful memories and unforgettable experience with HAMZA. We are glad we chose HAMZA as our driver and Morocco desert tour as the tour company as they made sure our holiday was enjoyable and safe. We highly recommend anyone holidaying in morocco to book both Morocco Desert Tours and driver HAMZA. From Lee & Family

We did the 4-night/3-day trip starting in Fez and ending in Marrakech, with one night in the Sahara at a luxury desert camp. Overall, it was a really good experience, and having a local, knowledgeable guide made a big difference in helping us understand what we were seeing along the way. Our guide, Hamza, was friendly, proactive, and regularly checked in to make sure the itinerary matched our expectations. He was quick to suggest alternatives if something didn’t appeal to us. This flexibility made the trip feel personalized rather than rushed or overly routine. The most memorable parts of the trip were our night in the desert and our visit to Dades Valley. The visit into the Sahara was a completely new experience for us and something we’ll never forget. The luxury tent exceeded our expectations - it was far sturdier and more comfortable than we had imagined, with a private bathroom/shower, electricity and USB ports for charging devices. We visited in December and were a bit concerned about nighttime temperatures, but the tent construction and generous number of blankets kept us very warm and comfortable. The staff in the camp were genuine and made us feel safe and at home for the night. On the way back from the camp, we could either ride camels again (included) or take an ATV ride for an extra cost. We opted for the ATV and are really glad we did. It was incredibly fun and allowed us to explore more remote parts of the dunes, away from other tourists. It ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our whole trip. Our time in Dades Valley was another standout. Hamza arranged a guided hike with a local guide who took us to see a water falls, and the epic landscape of Monkey Fingers. He was knowledgeable about the best routes, scenic viewpoints and talked to us about the local plants (a plus for me as a fellow plant enthusiast!) which was incredible. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip with Morocco Desert Tours. Hamza, along with the staff at the desert camp, shared thoughtful insights into local culture, including their Berber background, which helped us feel more connected to the places we visited. We’re very glad we did this tour and would definitely recommend it - especially for first-time visitors to Morocco!

Hamza took my father and I on the most epic father/daughter trip! It was the most beautiful and authentic experience. I’ve had the best trip of my life with our driver, Hamza. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and personable. Hamza knows all of the best spots, and everyone too! We met his family who were equally as sweet, and gave us a real cultural experience. He’s very funny, and I can’t recommend him enough. If you’re coming to Morocco, do yourself the biggest favor and book with Hamza!!!!

We joined a customized private tour for two people. Our driver was a local, and his service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and considerate. During the journey, he gave us detailed explanations about the cities and towns we passed, as well as the history of the old fortresses and stories of the Berber people. There was no forced shopping at all; everything was based on our own wishes, whether buying things or choosing where to have lunch. On the way to the Sahara, we passed through the Rose Valley, which is also our driver’s hometown. It was so beautiful, and he warmly invited us to meet his family. We sat together under the grapevines enjoying a traditional Moroccan afternoon tea—it was delicious and a truly classic experience. We could also feel the strong sense of family warmth, as they treated us just like their own. Before leaving, we took photos with his family, which made us especially happy. On the first day, he arranged a hotel for us near a canyon, with a small stream flowing just below. At night, we could fall asleep to the sound of running water. The dinner that evening and the breakfast the next morning were both excellent—especially the chicken tagine, flatbread, and fried eggs. After breakfast on the second day, we drove towards the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we stopped at a shop selling headscarves to protect against the strong sunlight, and we also tried Henna tattoos there, a beautiful traditional design that can be washed off. Later, we headed into the Sahara Desert. Before we set off, our luggage was transported in advance to a camp deep in the desert. We then rode camels for the first time, making our way to the desert camp. When we arrived, we enjoyed a delicious dinner, and the staff were very friendly. Our accommodation was a tent, which was very unique but well equipped, with a private shower, toilet, a double bed, and two small beds. Surprisingly, it was not too hot inside, and we could sleep comfortably. At night, we joined a bonfire party, singing around the fire late into the night. On the third day, we woke up early to watch the sunrise over the desert—it was breathtaking. Afterwards, we returned to our tent, packed our belongings, and had breakfast. We then set off back to the camel departure point, but this time we drove Quad bikes ourselves across the desert, which was super exciting and a wonderful experience. Finally, our driver friend Hamza took us back to Marrakech. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are truly grateful to our driver Hamza for being professional, thoughtful, and kind-hearted, as well as to all the friendly people we met along the way
