Moroccan Waves Heaven – Surf School & Camp in Tamraght, Taghazout, Morocco

Had an amazing week with Driss and Mohammed of Moroccan Waves Heaven. I was a total beginner and not a fast learner but by the end of the week they had me standing up and catching waves. They were so kind, patient, friendly and fun. A total Joy to be with. The accommodation they arranged was absolutely lovely, great food, room, staff and company. We went as a threesome but it would also be great for a single traveller. Fantastic attention to detail. They gave us bags to put our stuff in on the beach, brought a sunshade, water, lent us good boards and wetsuits. We had lovely picnic lunches brought to the beach by Driss; one day he brought a tagine cooked by his mum! They drove us everywhere. We also had 2 yoga lessons arranged. Amazing value for money! The beaches and surf are great. Tamrhakht is a lovely town, very chilled vibe, fantastic cafes, coffee, food. Highly recommended. 🥰🤩. Thanks Driss and Mohammed!

Best experience and surf coach I had in Morocco! Always here in the water and giving good advices that stick into your head ! Driss was super nice to us and always ask us if we need things also outside the water if no waves conditions ;) he make us discover some areas close to agadir the market and carpet maker outside the city . We also moove to surf in other places far! The experience was great ! I’ll come again for sure ! Thanks boss

First time in Morocco for me, mid-November 2025, and what an amazing experience at Moroccan Waves Heaven in Tamraght. I had never surfed before, and in just a few days I made huge progress thanks to Driss, an outstanding coach: extremely kind, patient, professional and always motivating. He really knows how to build confidence and adapt to every level. The camp atmosphere is amazing, warm and friendly, you immediately feel at home. And on top of that, the food is absolutely delicious, a real pleasure after long surf sessions. Beyond surfing, Driss also helped me discover Morocco: nearby cities, local culture and traditions. It’s much more than just a surf camp — it’s a truly human and authentic experience. For sure, I’ll come back every year. Highly recommended, no hesitation 🌊🤍

I just came back from a few days with Driss of Moroccan Waves Heaven and I had an amazing time. I needed to rebuild my confidence on the board and in each sessions, Driss's coaching, sound advices, patience and kindness, helped me a lot to make progress and catch waves. He also took care of all the logistics, from the transfer from and to the airport, to the stay at an amazing house and to the lunches on the beach between sessions that were all delicious. Super fun overall, we had very cool discussions too. I highly recommend to join Moroccan Waves Heaven. I already plan to come back as soon as I can.

We went with four friends to Tamraght for surf lessons and exploring the area, and it was everything we hoped for. The instructor was super chill, funny, and always clear in explaining what to do in the water. He came and picked us up at our apartment every time so logistics were stress-free. The lessons were solid — we felt our surfing improve fast thanks to his guidance, adapting to how each of us was doing. Besides the surf, he helped us figure out what else to do around town, booked us taxis when needed, and planned our trip to Paradise Valley which turned out to be one of the highlights. If you want surf lessons + someone who makes the whole trip easy, fun, and full of good advice, this is your guy. Highly recommend.
