Wide range of prices. Some pieces run into thousands of dollars. Stop off point on a Gate 1 tour. The Macro Fossiles Kasbah celebrates Morocco’s very-earliest inhabitants. This family-run business unearths fossils in the Moroccan desert and transforms them into showpieces and momentos. As the area was once a seabed, you’ll find trilobites, ammonites, starfish, and bivalves embedded in household objects. Without pressure to buy, the shop also offers an opportunity to lean a bit more about the fossils, Moroccan palaeontology, and the polishing methods used by the workshop.

The fossils r found at the surrounding quarries. The large rocks weigh abt 5 tonnes. The red hues r iron while the white is calcium. The long fossil is squid while the rounded ones r anemone... There were dossils of starfish and stingray as well
