Brilliant souk with 4 floors of artisan produced items, including pottery, jewellery, rugs and leather goods. We were accompanied by accompanied by Idris and he was very knowledgeable on all of the products. There was no pressure to buy. However I bought a leather hold-all, bracelet, bowl and hand crafted wooden box. All excellent items and very keenly priced. Definitely worth a visit.
This was the last place I visited on trip to Agadir. Quality, unique and interesting pieces, including vintage which I've not seen in a lot of places in Agadir. Not as overwhelming as Souk El Had and well layed out to shop leisurely. Gutted I didn't find it on day one when I had more space in my suitcase! Purchaed a bag which was my mission for the day so I was pleased. I probably could have got it cheaper but I was happy to pay for the quality I got.
If you're after gifts, souvenirs, jewellery, etc this is the place to go. As others have commented it's big with loads of stuff to look at but the nicest part is the quite relaxed atmosphere. No pressure, no need to haggle for hours. The prices really were fairly reasonable. About 5mins walk from the Souk El Had
A great find in Agadir after being disappointed at the selection of artisanal products in souk El Had. A lot of interesting & beautiful items, staff members relaxed and not overbearing. I bought a mirror for what I believe was a very fair price
4 floors of goods and no real hassle to buy. No silly haggling experienced, reasonable prices from the start. Would be really busy if it were closer to the beach. Definitely worth a visit.
This interior shop is owned by Mohammed who is Berber. He explained me the different tribes of Berber in Maroc, those in the north Atlas, the Saharan one and from the south. Berber believe in a culture of moving, not in the mind, you get fat, by Ming your body. Going from one place to the other. The shop has style. I like the water kettle on a post with charcoal. Everything made from brass, what is best for cooking he said.
