We made a special trip there and were disappointed. The place is completely littered, full of rubble and graffiti. Even the two mosques and their remains have been defaced. There's no indication of the site's age or significance. Luckily, you can find detailed information online. After taking a few photos, we left quickly. It's a shame; outside the wall there's a small, park-like area, but inside it's chaos. We've often experienced such neglectful treatment of culturally and historically significant sites.
