Faekla, also known as Afrekla, is a valley located in the lower Todgha region, in the western basin of Tafilalet. The area is characterized by numerous palm groves and oases irrigated by a dozen khattars, a complex system that channels groundwater to the surface. The region is renowned for its rich human and natural resources, both agricultural and subsoil-based. Despite this, these resources remain largely untapped. The magnificent landscape of the Anti-Atlas Mountains and its oases offers exceptionally beautiful tourist routes. The culture and history of the ksours (fortified villages), with their distinctive architecture, still tell the story of a distinguished past threatened by oblivion. These ruined structures, built of rammed earth and a thousand towers, offer a breathtaking symphony of beauty, leaving the senses captivated and dazzled by their immense and picturesque sublimity.
