A thoroughly entertaining evening with plenty of food. Musicians were very good as was the fire eater and Dancer. Wrap up nice and warm in the winter months because it can get very cold. There aren’t many people on the night that I went approximately 30, but they still managed to generate a decent atmosphere.

We visited this restaurant on New Year’s Day when most of the higher-end places nearby were closed. It was very quiet — we were the only guests — which makes sense because most people come here as part of an organised tour with quad biking and camel rides. We just came for the food. They offer a fixed menu for 150 MAD per person: a small salad, chicken tagine, and a fruit salad. The food arrived very quickly and everything was warm. The setting is lovely, with mountains in the background and a peaceful atmosphere. The food itself was okay. The tagine was a little dry with less sauce than usual, and for Morocco it felt slightly pricey — but given the area and the lack of other open options, it worked for us. Two of us had already tried lots of Moroccan food and found it average, while our friends who were new to it really enjoyed it. Overall, I wouldn’t travel out here just for the food, but if you’re on a tour, passing through Talakast, or stuck for options, this place is perfectly fine and does the job.

We visited here as part of a camel ride, quad bike and dinner show experience. For the price paid the combo was exceptionally good value. However, I would say that the dinner show did go on for too long. The fire show was great but the initial musical bit was a bit too much. I appreciate it's traditional Morrocan singing and musical instruments but my advice is stay away from where the speakers are located. It went on for far too long and was repetitive. By the end It felt like some form of brainwashing. The guys performing clearly loved what they were doing and we're really in to it but perhaps it would be better to reduce the duration or do a couple of sets to let ears rest a little. Food was plentiful.. but not to my liking (though I am fussy and so might appeal more to others)

For the price of 15€ on TripAdvisor, this was a very nice trip. The quad bike trip could’ve been way better if we hadn’t had stopped for 20 minutes and some local wouldn’t have tried to sell us overpriced scarfs (keep in mind the whole quad drive should’ve been 60 minutes, so that’s a third of the time that we should’ve spent driving). After that was the drive to a women’s oil cooperative which was just like any other - 5 minutes of explaining how they make the oils, 20 minutes of trying to convince you to buy various creams and oils (which are overpriced by the way, you can get the same thing way cheaper at street stores). When we got back to the main restaurant yard, there was a LOT of waiting, and I mean like an hour of doing absolutely nothing till our food came. After the food, again, was a pretty long wait until tribal people came to play some music with various instruments. About the food - it was good for 15€, pretty average if not accounting the price. Everything they served was included in the main ticket so we didn’t have to pay for everything. They served us a bigger tajine for 2 people, a couscous meal, a 1.5l bottle of water, and for desert a very miniature fruit salad which was at best average. The tajine and couscous had generous portions and was pretty good. After the tribals started playing music we had to wait another hour or so doing tedious dances and shouts which they teached which felt like just more time consuming activities. Finally - the fire show. Briefly, it was good. A man swung sticks that were on fire, it’s basically what you expect. The coolest part was him actually extinguishing the fire with his mouth after blowing fire out of it! That was very suprising and looked like it could hurt but he was just fine. After more spinning of fiery rings the show was over. Overall, for the small price of 15€ per person this trip is definitely worth it. Of course, they had to try to make money in other ways (the oil cooperative and random 20 minutes stop with quads), but it’s understandable. How it could’ve been better? Simply picking up the pace and not making us wait a long time for anything. Also, be sure to bring a sweater because it got quite chilly in the evening.

Came here with a tour group after riding camels and quad bikes. Food was basic and had not choice of meal, plates and cutlery were dirty. Was alot of sitting around with nothing happening. Probably can miss this place unless taken here with a tour group.

This was a huge disappointment. So the first step was to see how argan oil is being made which was like 2 minutes of exploration plus a cup of tea and 15 minutes of intentions to sell you oil based products . Then it’s a quad excursion which was supposed to be in the dunes but was just a ride on a dusty road. No free riding, no sandy dunes. No sand at all haha, just dust. Then we came back and they kinda forgot that ride on camels is sido included. We had to kindly remind them that, they have started to make phone calls and so on. After some waiting they did indeed offered us a ride. Poor animals! Their camels were in very poor condition, with bloody wounds several of them, one wounded was actually used for the ride. The ride was around 15 minutes, nothing special again this mediocre landscape. Then it was a really long waiting for the food. Dinner was just as disappointing as everything else . Chicken dish was ok, couscous quite bad. There was only water for drink, no soft drinks not even tea. Some apples for a dessert. No options to choose. A lot of time when we had absolutely nothing to do. I regret coming so much, it’s a huge waste of time which is even more frustrating than waste of money.
