I have just bought a beautiful silver ring, featuring a stunning red stone from Brahim at Tissir Jewellery in the souk in Marrakesh. I have been in Marrakesh for two days and, in that time, I've looked at many jewellery shops and stalls. The jewellery at Tissir is displayed to a quality standard and, from my experience, the items themselves are of great quality without being too expensive. Brahim is a gentleman. He was not pushy. He listened and respected us. And I now have an amazing piece of jewellery to remind me of my time in Marrakesh.

It was a pleasure talking with Brahim - very knowledgeable and speaks good English. After traveling through almost all of Morocco, this was the first shop where I actually liked something… I guess I’m quite picky. I was looking for something truly local, with Berber patterns and a delicate filigree style rings, and this was the only place where I found exactly what I wanted. The shop didn’t have usual mass-produced Chinese items, which makes it feel trustworthy - you get the sense that the silver here is real. One of my rings was resized for free, and I picked it up the next day. You can pay by card, though cash is definitely more preferred. Recommend 🙂

Professional, Kind, Honest. I was looking for a good quality ring for a memory from Marrakech, the jewellery are quality silver and countless amounts of unique jewellery to choose from, therefore if you are looking for something of poor quality and cheap go elsewhere. The owner was extremely patient and kind with me as I tried many different rings of which are so many options ! I wasn't pressured to buy anything, he was very honest with where the jewellery was originated and if he didn't know he didn't lie. He even had the option to make me a ring out of silver coins ! An honest hard working man and I struck a great deal with him and I couldn't be happier. A firm handshake, a smile goodbye and I know have an authentic silver ring ! Thank you my friend.

Chatting with Brahim and his brother Anas, surrounded by the vast collection of exquisite silver pieces, was an experience in itself. Brahim seems to know the story and history behind every single item that passes through his shop. The antique Tuareg and Berber jewellery is truly museum-worthy and worth the trip even if one isn't looking to purchase anything. What made the experience especially meaningful was the atmosphere. I was completely free to take my time browsing, trying pieces on, asking questions, hearing stories—all without the slightest feeling of a pressure to buy. The shop is run with integrity, generosity, quality, and genuine warmth.
